Dear Parent(s),

 

Enclosed are your child(ren)’s information sheets for those currently registered in our 2007-2008 program. Please clearly print any missing information and make any additions/corrections directly on the sheets, e.g. work numbers, new emergency contacts, new schools etc.

 

For children entering 2nd and 11th grades, please include a copy of their baptismal certificate if you have not already done so. Included is a Registration form for any children who will be NEW to our program in September. Please attach a copy of their baptismal certificate to the Registration form.

 

In this registration packet is a blue form containing information regarding our sessions and times for next year. Please fill out the form indicating your child’s name, Faith Formation grade and session. Your active participation in our program is critical. We have a number of openings for catechists. Please seriously consider becoming involved in this vital ministry.

 

Children with special physical/developmental needs are welcome in our program. For further information, please contact the office.

 

Please make all tuition checks out to Christ the King Church. Tuition, which covers approximately 20% of our operating expenses such as heat, light, insurance, supplies etc., will be $40 per child – maximum of $95 per family. This rate will be in effect until June 1, 2008. For payments received after June 1st, an additional $10 charge per child – maximum of $110 per family will apply. If tuition creates a hardship, please contact me so that arrangements can be made. Please do not delay your registration because of financial concerns. Send in the paperwork so we have accurate numbers for our planning purposes.

 

To help our children become acquainted and more familiar with God’s Word, we are asking all children in grades 5-11 to purchase The Catholic Youth Bible from St. Mary’s Press. The bible will be used for class as well as home use. By ordering this wonderful new resource in quantities, the cost is $20. Please make out a separate check to Christ the King for $20 and return it along with your tuition.

 

I ask you to return your corrected and updated child(ren)’s information sheet(s), blue session form, any new registration forms, baptismal certificates and your check(s) to the office. You may return your material to your  Faith Formation session, by mail or drop it off at our office. A packet with opening program information and schedules will be mailed to you in late August.

 

Classes are filled on a first come, first serve basis. The earlier we receive you registration, the better the chances of your child being in the session of your choice. We cannot guarantee catechists for each class so we depend on you to come forward.
